Finding the best place to start blogging
So here comes the first post in trapbot.com.I am not here to write on this blog somewhat on a daily — basis for x years times 365 days.But this blog will definetely contain something which might really interest you.That’s for sure.
One of the common mistakes bloggers do is that they start their blogs on either blogspot or wordpress.com.Once settled and having a good page rank on these blogs would not bring any google juice when shifting to their own domain at a later time.
But if you are not interested in buying a domain then it does not matter.You can go for blogger for free blog hosting,that’s the platform i recommend for free blog hosting.
First question you would ask me is that what are the advantages of taking blogger as the host:
- Unlimited Bandwidth
- Free image hosting
- Easy customization
- Easy HTML and AJAX integration
- Hacker Safe (to an extend)
Defenitely there are limitations as well
- No FTP access
- Less overall control
- No control over robots.txt and .htaccess
But why not Wordpress.com
Blogger.com gives a direct access to your template but Wordpress.com does not.Another disadvantage of wordpress.com is that we could not implement any type of javascript ads like Adsense in wordpress.
Best place to start upload blog images is tubeimage.com imo
